Kadokawa’s Mecha Strategy RPG, Relayer, Will Release on March 24 for the PS5 and PS4

Kadokawa Games and Clouded Leopard Entertainment have made good on their promise to release their mecha strategy RPG, Relayer, simultaneously worldwide. The companies announced that the game will be available in Japan as well as the rest of the world on March 24, 2022 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

The standard edition will cost $60 on both consoles and the digital premium edition will cost $75. The latter includes a Season Pass, which will grant players to bonus content like “a fully voiced story, additional robots, custom items, and equipment items that will be available on PlayStation Store after the game’s official release date.” The premium edition also includes Relayer‘s soundtrack and a PS4 dynamic theme.

Relayer‘s PS4 version can be upgraded to the PS5 version free of charge. Your save data as well as trophy data will be transferred over when making the switch.

Those who preorder the digital premium edition when preorders go live on January 25 will get early access three days before launch. Preordering any version via the PlayStation Store comes with the following:
