Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Update 1.5.0 Patch Notes

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Update 1.5.0 will be released at 7 am EST tomorrow, February 22. One of the main purposes of the update is to add support for Dawn of Ragnarok, which is due to be released on March 10. As well as a new storyline that heads into the world of Svartalfheim, players will get to use new shapeshifting powers, four more abilities, six new skills, additional weapon and armor sets, and a brand new Divine Quality for gear and weapons. Players can start the new content at any time. Those who are not at Power Level 340 or above will be boosted to that level and will have access to predefined gear and weapons.

The update will also introduce Saga Difficulty Mode, which is considered to be the game’s Story mode so players can focus on the story without having to consider stealth and combat. This means enemies will cause less damage and don’t scale in difficulty alongside players. More time is also given for players to perform actions after they have been detected in stealth. As well as the new difficulty, there are several new combat settings that can be tweaked to suit a player’s experience.

Other improvements include alterations to stealth gameplay and a multitude of bug fixes and gameplay improvements. You can find a full list of patch notes on Ubisoft’s website.

In other news, Atlus has revived the Soul Hackers franchise and will be releasing Soul Hackers 2 in August. Elsewhere, Square Enix has revealed they’ll be supporting Final Fantasy XIV for another ten years, starting with another update in April.
