Rabbids: Adventure Party is a game currently exclusive to Nintendo Switch in China, but it might not stay that way for much longer. According to Ubisoft, there’s a new Rabbids game coming soon to PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia called Rabbids: Party of Legends and there’s every chance this is a worldwide release of the aforementioned Switch game.

The mysterious Rabbids: Party of Legends

Ubisoft casually name-dropped the new game in their earnings report today, stating that Rabbids: Party of Legends will be arriving before the end of June both digitally and at retail. The game is labeled as getting a worldwide release, suggesting it is already available in some countries. The only game to fit this theory is Rabbids: Adventure Party, and releasing the game on more platforms makes sense for a worldwide release where those consoles will significantly widen the game’s potential audience.

Rabbids: Adventure Party is a four-player, couch co-op party game based on the world of Journey to the West. Released in China last year, the Rabbids have traveled back in time once again and are causing chaos as Tang Sanzang, Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing. The mini-games include bumper cars where players must drive around with a passenger to score points, but if the passenger falls out of the vehicle then points will be deducted. There’s also a Hydrangea game where players must get hold of the hydrangea to score points while other players try to steal it and the player with the most points wins the game. Hopefully, more official details will be revealed soon.

In other news, Rocksteady has confirmed Gotham Knights will not have any microtransactions when it is released on PS5. Elsewhere, EA had phenomenal success with their live service games last year, and EA’s CEO has said this has given their AAA games more time in development to reach a higher quality.
