Games included in the new PS Plus Classics lineup will come with a variety of new features, as previously announced. However, Sony didn’t fully detail all the features and it took Bend Studio to reveal that some games will have trophy support. Now that the classics have started appearing on the PS Store in Asia, we’ve found out that some PS1 and PSP games will have custom video filters, including a CRT filter.

Some new PS Plus classics are available for purchase now

In Asian territories, where the revamped PS Plus will launch first, some of the classics that will be available separately are now available for purchase for an equivalent of $5-9 (official prices for US/EU have yet to be revealed). The listings reveal features like up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters. PSP classic Ridge Racer 2 will also have these features. In addition to this, the games will support a variety of scaling methods and aspect ratios, and your saves can be uploaded online.

Folks over at MP1st purchased 1997’s Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee and have showcased new features in the video below. Take a look:

According to MP1st, not only can you save and load whenever and wherever you want, you can also upload your saves via the Cloud. Apart from better frame rates and increased resolution, MP1st claims that native ports can utilize “forced VRR” at the system level.

According to the PS Store, PS1 game Worms World Party will also feature multiplayer but as some users have pointed out, it looks like Sony lifted the game’s description from its official PC version so don’t get your hopes up for multiplayer support just yet.

In other news, the FTC is cracking down on influencers involved in fake and misleading reviews, and there’s a chance we’ll see Final Fantasy 16 this year.
