Grapple Dog Xbox

After a very successful launch on Nintendo Switch, the dog with a grappling hook is moseying on over to Xbox. Grapple Dog is out today on Xbox Series X.

This cute pixel art platformer introduces Xbox gamers to Pablo, the Grapple Dog. He uses his grapple hook to traverse these worlds in a unique way. Jumping is still a major part of this platformer, but you don’t see Spyro or Crash swinging around on grapple hooks, do you?

Across six worlds and 33 levels, Pablo will encounter a whole host of weird and wonderful characters. On his quest to stop the evil robot Nul, Pablo and his friends will sail between the levels to stop Nul.

Grapple Dog has plenty of things to uncover too. Boss battles, bonus levels and more are all hiding from Pablo. Each level also has a time trial mode where you can post your best times on a leaderboard to see how you compare with others. This was something we tried back at EGX 2021, but we weren’t very good.

Grapple Dog is on the Xbox Store now priced at £12.49. Our review is coming soon, so stay tuned. For now though, let us know in the comments if you will be picking this one up on Xbox Series X for the first time, or are you double dipping after getting it on the Nintendo Switch?
