Bullet-hell shooters, eh? The mere name has us coming out in sweats, but Graze Counter GM wants to up the intensity, requesting we ‘play dangerously’ as it releases on PC and console.

From the Bikkuri Software and Sanuk teams, Graze Counter GM launches on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC in hope of being able to provide a new take on the old bullet-hell scene. Playing dangerously will be par for the course here, as it takes the usual genre staples and refreshes the scene, creating a highly replayable affair that will have you running some serious risk/reward moments.

Priced up at £12.49, with a launch discount in place for the first few weeks after launch, Graze Counter GM works as a top-down scroller, with 2D shooting vibes emitting from that. As you’d suspect, it’s pretty much a case of shoot anything and everything, as you get to test the limits of your gaming skills – and the destructive power which the game allows – over and over again.

But whereas you’ll usually be wanting to steer well clear of any enemies, Graze Counter GM urges you to get up close and personal, building a Graze Counter as bullets skim past. Max this counter out and you’ll be able to unleash some serious firepower, in turn releasing a Break Gauge and the unlimited power that holds.

If hectic gaming is your bag, we’re pretty sure you’ve going to get Graze Counter GM. A look at the trailer and screenshots reveal this to be a bit of a manic affair, but one that looks oh so appealing.

Find Graze Counter GM over on the Xbox Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, fully optimised for new-gen consoles. It should well be on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam) too.
