grid legends winter bash

A year ago, Codemasters and EA thrust us into an all-new GRID experience, one in which we could attempt to become legend. Now, as the final expansion pack rolls onto the starting line-up, GRID Legends’ Winter Bash is found adding in a host of new cars, story events and more.

Available to purchase, download and add into your GRID Legends game right this minute is Winter Bash, the final DLC drop for the Codemasters racer. A snow-filled update, it invites players to join Ajeet Singh as he jumps out of the Driven to Glory story to deliver a new winter celebration.

Priced at £8.99 or available in the Deluxe Edition of the game, Winter Bash drops in three new vehicles, eight Story events, some new point-to-point drift routes and more.

The release of the Winter Bash brings a host of thrilling events featuring high-speed racing through seasonal weather conditions. It’ll see you reunited with Driven to Glory’s iconic protagonist, Valentin Manzi, as you look to venture around the five new snow-filled Okutama Sprint routes for some authentic touge action. A huge forty-five existing routes have also been updated to allow for boost gates and ramps via the Race Creator.

Further, three formidable new vehicles have been added to GRID Legends’ already extensive roster: the classic SRT Viper GTS-R, returning as a ‘Drift Tuned’ variant, the BMW 2002 TII Race Car, and the fearsome Bugatti Bolide, which makes its video game debut in GRID Legends. New sponsored Career Events and a host of icons, liveries and banners for in-game customisation are also available in this pack.

In numbers, you’re looking at the following being included:

  • 3 new Vehicles
  • 8 new themed Story Experiences
  • 3 new Career Events unlocked by completing new Sponsor objectives
  • 45 existing routes with a mixture of Ramps & boost gates being added
  • Point-to-point Drift Routes at Okutama
  • + new Liveries, Icons and Banners

“The holiday season may have ended but the party has only started in GRID Legends. More routes, boosts, ramps and fun, this is what this final DLC is all about,”said Paul Lovell, Senior Games Designer at Codemasters. “Look out for the team liveries featured in Driven to Glory story mode, now available for all players to equip, and join in the fun!”

If you don’t yet have GRID Legends, then there is possibly no better time to grab a download of the game on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 or PC. And if you’re the owner of the Deluxe Edition of the game, and you want to drag your friends along for this Winter Bash, you can do so for free – they won’t even need to own the DLC. The Winter Bash DLC is on the Xbox Store.
