Whilst it is Forza Horizon and Gran Turismo which hogs the headlines – depending on your format of choice – there’s much love across the racing fraternity for The Crew, Ubisoft’s open-world racing franchise. It’s that which will be used as the spine for what is to come as The Crew Motorfest is announced.

Following on from The Crew and The Crew 2, The Crew Motorfest will release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC (Ubisoft Store, Epic) in 2023.

It’ll be later in the year when we get welcomed into the Motorfest – a one-of-a kind festival which promises to allow players the chance to fully embrace the car culture scene. Motorfest will allow car lovers to fulfil their ultimate action driving bucket list through a series of tailor-made races, themed events, and other unique challenges. Whatever your favourite car style, The Crew Motorfest has something for everyone.

The Crew Motorfest will whisk us off to one of the most breathtaking places on Earth: the island of O‘ahu in the Hawaiian archipelago. Ubisoft see this as the perfect playground for players to have fun in their vehicles: racing through the city streets of Honolulu, shooting down the ashy volcano slopes, adventuring deep into the lush rainforest, drifting along mountain roads, or taking time to chill on the beach.

The best thing about Motorfest is that you’ll be able to do this alone or with your mates, with your crew, no less, able to fully explore the entire island behind the wheel of hundreds of the most legendary vehicles.

Whilst a 2023 release date is all we know for now, if you’re excited about The Crew Motorfest and are part of the Insider Program on PC, you’ll be able to check things out via a closed test from Feb 1st 2023. Expect the test to open up to console players in the future.
