Are you ready to set forth and take in a whole new adventure, one that is nothing short of epic proportions? That’s what you are getting with today’s new Game Pass arrival.

The brilliance of Game Pass never seems to wane and today Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC players can get access to one of the finest adventures to have hit the Xbox worlds. Promising stunning action-RPG elements, mixed with a vast reimagined world, it’s a game that will allow you the chance to carve out your own kingdom, however you see fit.

That game is Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. And right now it is available to play through Game Pass, whether that be on Xbox or PC.

Having first released on Xbox just a few months back in October 2022, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord managed to fill what fans of thrilling medieval combat were after. Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is a game that we reviewed positively, dropping a 3.5/5 score onto our thoughts. It’s there in which we spoke of the epic campaign, of the brilliant battles and of how Bannerlord would be a highly detailed life eater. Granted, we weren’t quite as sold on the controls of the visuals, but you can’t have everything in life and in the end plumped for a review that concluded with some rather nice words: “… it will be the ambition of taking a character from nothing before throwing them into a huge adventure, one full of heart and soul, which will be the key to Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord.

Simply put, if you’re in the market for a game that will take up a good few hours of your life, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is it.

That should be never more true than now, particularly as it’s free to download through the Game Pass service on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Should you be a Game Pass subscriber, then it’s looking like a decent week in all. There’s another addition on the 15th of Feb as Cities: Skylines – Remastered comes to the new-gen, although we take a hit by losing six other games – Besiege (Game Preview) (Cloud, Console, and PC); CrossfireX (Cloud and Console); Infernax (Cloud, Console, and PC)’ Recompile (Cloud, Console, and PC); Skul: The Hero Slayer (Cloud, Console, and PC); The Last Kids on Earth (Cloud, Console, and PC)

But then a day later sees the Definitive Edition of Shadow Warrior 3 hitting home, whilst the 21st Feb introduces the much hyped Atomic Heart. We should then expect a few more arrivals and departures as the month concludes.

For now, go and grab the epic adveentures of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord through Game Pass. And let us know what you think of it once you’ve spent some hours in its world. Is that 3.5/5 review fair?
