Hi-Rez Studios, the developer of Rogue Company, has announced that the Switch version of the free-to-play team-based multiplayer shooter will no longer be supported after June 20. In a statement, the team explained that after much consideration and discussion, they decided to end support for the Switch version due to its performance not meeting their standards. They acknowledged that this decision will impact the community but stated that it will allow them to provide better support and updates for players on other platforms. As of April 11, in-game purchases for real money will no longer be available, and Nintendo eShop purchases will be turned off as soon as possible. Switch players are encouraged to use Hi-Rez account linking to continue their progress on another platform. The PC, PlayStation, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions of Rogue Company will continue to be supported. The team thanked the community for their understanding and support and assured them that they will continue to provide full support for other platforms. The in-game store on Switch will remain available until June 20.
