US NPD for March 2023: Resident Evil 4 Remake No.1 game and PS5 No.1 console

The latest NPD Group video game software and hardware charts have come through for March 2023. The best-selling video game for March 2023 was Capcom’s Resident Evil 4 Remake and the second best-selling game was the smash hit Hogwarts Legacy which is coming to the Nintendo Switch system this July. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe remains in the No.10. It wouldn’t be surprising to see more Mario-themed games in the top ten for April with The Super Mario Bros. Movie‘s release similar to the UK. The best-selling hardware in the United States in March 2023 was Sony’s PlayStation 5 console.
