Got a taste for pizza but done with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? It’ll soon be time to team up with a quirky little possum in Pizza Possum.

Announced by the indie developer Cosy Computer, helped along by the publishing gods at Raw Fury, Pizza Possum has today been given a new trailer. If you’re up for a slice of the action, you’ll want to stick this one on your radar.

Coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC later in 2023, Pizza Possum is a new top-down, arcade-styled, sneaky-peeky action game in which you’ll be found trying to stuff food into your little possum mouth.

The perfect pizza feast?

Taking place on a well crafted 3D island world, in Pizza Possum you’ll be tasked with stealing as much food as possible, chowing down on it as quickly as you can. Whether you do it alone, or attempt a feast with others via local co-op, is totally up to you.

However you tackle Pizza Possum, you’ll need to be aware of a few things. As chaos ensues, you’ll have to work your way from the keen eye of the local guard dogs, hiding in bushes in hope of continuing the feast.

Pizza Possum will play out via a set of picturesque regions, all stocked with delicious meals to satisfy your taste buds. It’s here where you’ll gain points that allow you to unlock unique items like smoke bombs, punching gloves and more to help you on your journey.

If you’re up for a fun and hectic journey, complete with gameplay with intuitive controls, a playful feel, and an adorable soundscape, then Pizza Possum is looking like one to consider.

Prepare for play!

Pizza Possum is set to release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC. It’s looking like it’ll be unavailable on Xbox One or PS4. There will also be a free playable demo for Pizza Possum available during Steam Next Fest between the 19th and 26th of June.

Wishlist it over on Steam right now, or hold tight for full release down the line. Whatever, the trailer is in place for your watching…
