Capcom’s had a big year so far, due in large part to the releases of Resident Evil 4 Remake and Street Fighter VI. Meanwhile, the company has Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice Trilogy releasing early next year. Of course, Capcom is more than just those 3 franchises, and that topic was brought up in a recent Q&A with investors and shareholders.

Capcom was asked about future plans for Monster Hunter, Toraware No Palm, Sengoku Basara, and Onimusha. In response, Capcom says that “we are carrying out discussions regarding the future expansion of these titles so they can be enjoyed by a wide audience”. This isn’t surprising in regards to Monster Hunter, but this may be interesting for fans of Toraware No Palm, Sengoku Basara, and Onimusha.

But that’s not all. Mega Man was also mentioned in a couple of questions. One question was about future plans for the IP. Capcom responded by saying that “Mega Man is one of Capcom’s historic IPs and is loved by fans, and as such we want to take care in how we develop the series. We are considering how to approach the production of new entries in the series, which requires numerous factors, including the development of a solid concept, ideas and gameplay, et cetera”.

The other Mega Man related question was about ports and collections of Mega Man titles that had been previously released. In response, all Capcom said about the matter is that they are “considering our approach to ports of past entries titles, which includes addressing technical issues”.
