Nobody could have accurately predicted just how much of a success the Super Mario Bros. Movie would be when it was first announced. The film has smashed it at the box-office becoming the third highest grossing animated film of all-time. Movie magazine Empire has thought hard about other Nintendo characters or franchises which deserve their own films and have come up with the following list which features a few characters and series you may not have thought about with regards to their Hollywood potential.
