You may recall that the Splatoon 3 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 2024 World Championships, originally planned for Nintendo Live 2024 in Tokyo, were postponed to this week. Fortunately, both events were able to go on without issue this time. In fact, earlier today, the winners have been officially crowned.

The Splatoon 3 World Champions are Team Jackpot, from the United States. As for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s World Champions, that honor went to Team Purple from Japan. Nintendo of Europe posted tweets showing the award ceremonies of both, so if you want to, you can see both of them down below.
