Farming Simulator 25 – coming to Xbox, PlayStation, PC

It’s been a good few years since we saw the release of the most recent farming simulator, but fear not because the farming never stops. And come November, Farming Simulator 25 will release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC and Mac. You’ll be able to grab a Collector’s Edition too.

There’s a huge community behind the Farming Simulator brand, and we are constantly amazed by the interest and intrigue it brings. Farming Simulator 25 will look to take things to the next levels, as it lands on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC and Mac later this year.

A current-gen only title – no Xbox One or PS4 love here – Farming Simulator 25 will release come November 12th 2024, following on from the brilliance of Farming Simulator 22.

The next instalment for Farming Simulator

From GIANTS Software, Farming Simulator 25 will add in all-new game features, upgrades to the visuals, new maps, more machines and the opportunity to draw some fresh water – all so you can grow rice. That’ll be important too, as Farming SImulator 25 will not just let you head to a Central Europe location, nor a North American environment, but also to East Asia and its rice paddies.

Farming Simulator 25 promises much, no matter whether you wish to farm alone or cooperatively in multiplayer. Do so and you’ll be able to grow two types of rice, spinach, and other new crops – choosing from well over 20 overall. Further, buffalos and other animals join the livestock pens, while new production chains and constructions extend business opportunities. More features and details will be revealed in the weeks to come.

And of course, machine enthusiasts will get to enjoy an ensemble of over 400 authentic vehicles, as well as tools and items from more than 150 international top brands. Among them will be Case IH, CLAAS, Fendt, John Deere, Kubota, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, Valtra, and many others. And thanks to the addition of the Asian farming, new types of specialized machines get introduced.

Visual upgrades

Best yet though? In Farming Simulator 25 all farmers will get to feel a deeper connection to fields and nature thanks to a general tech upgrade with improved graphics and physics based on the latest and modding-friendly GIANTS Engine 10. Expect to be treated to distance fog, enhanced shadows, dynamic weather effects, ground deformation and more boost the immersion of a romantic farming life.

“Farming is a passion shared by many, both in real life and virtually,” remarks Christian Ammann, CEO of GIANTS Software. “Farming Simulator 25 enhances the series with deeper gameplay and greater immersion, becoming the favorite hobby for both experienced farmers and beginners. We cultivate this passion by providing a relaxing, family-friendly, community-oriented, and rewarding experience for everyone.”
