PS Store sale offers staggering discount on Oxenfree games for a limited time
The 90% discount, available on the U.S. PS Store (regional availability may vary), will remain live until November 7. $3 (before tax) is an excellent price for the games considering what they have to offer.
Both games have been praised for their writing and presentation. Players will follow a supernatural story about a group of friends who somehow open up a “ghost rift.” Oxenfree 2 is a standalone story but does contain references to events from the original, so it’s worth playing both.
Oxenfree’s campaign takes about five hours, and a Platinum trophy run takes about 12 hours, depending on play style. The sequel can be completed in about six hours, or 15-20 hours if you’re going for the Platinum trophy. Both Platinum trophies are a walk in in the park.
We highly recommend giving the Oxenfree series a chance.
