Astro Bot Platinum Trophy Difficulty Polarizes Players

PS4 & PS5

PS5 players appear to be torn over Astro Bot Platinum trophy difficulty, with some arguing that the challenges can be unfairly punishing. Astro Bot’s main game can be a breeze, inviting players of all ages and backgrounds, but some of the challenges required for 100% completion has players tearing their hair out.

Is Astro Bot Platinum difficulty as low as it’s made out to be?

A few Astro Bot Platinum trophy guides that I’ve seen have awarded it a difficulty rating of 3/10 — a rating it shares with games like Horizon Forbidden West, which was pretty much a walk in the park. But as more and more players complete Astro Bot, a debate has ensued over that difficulty rating.

“Coming from me who recently Platinum Elden Ring, it is hard,” wrote one player on Reddit. “Anyone who says the challenges aren’t hard is full of s***,” wrote another. However, some disagreed, arguing that challenge levels can be cleared within a few tries and those frustrated have a “skill issue.”

I just completed a few Astro Bot challenge levels myself recently, and as much as I’m enjoying what the game is throwing at me, I think I died less during Stellar Blade‘s boss rush. I’m certainly looking forward to unlocking that shiny Platinum.
