Former BioWare General Manager Casey Hudson’s new studio, Humanoid Studios, has revealed a few more details on their debut title. The upcoming multi-platform AAA game will be set in a brand new science fiction universe and there’s some concept art that gives players an idea of what they might expect.

What do we know about Humanoid Studios’ new game?

Humanoid Studios’ first title will be “a multi platform AAA game, focusing on character-driven narrative in an all-new science-fiction universe”. The studio’s official website also includes several concept art images, as noticed by ResetEra. The first image shows two astronauts exploring a rocky planet where there’s the remnants of either former civilizations, or something I don’t want to meet if the ginormous skull structure is anything to go by. Another image shows two astronauts on what is thought to be the same planet, only this time they seem to be collecting samples.

A third image depicts a bar/rest area within a modern space station, with a clear view of nearby planets looming through the window. Finally, there’s a completely different landscape more reminiscent of Earth, with green fields, snow-capped mountains and winding rivers. The only difference is there’s unknown but dazzling white structures nestled between the mountains and a couple of spacecraft making their way towards it. While not shown in the images, job listings suggest we’ll be seeing unique creatures too, but whether they’re friendly remains to be seen. The game is currently in the very early stages of development, so don’t expect any official announcements anytime soon.

In other news, rumors say Ubisoft was due to hold a showcase event prior to E3 2022 to show off several unannounced titles. These included games like Assassin’s Creed Rift and a new Prince of Persia game. Elsewhere, a new The Witcher game will kick off a brand new saga, but CD Projekt Red kept most of the details to themselves.
