With just over a week to go until release, TT Games has finally introduced us to some of the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga villains. The Darkness is Rising trailer gives us a look at some of the villains as they cause chaos, as well as a malfunctioning light saber and interesting sound effects.

Which LEGO Star Wars villains feature in The Skywalker Saga?

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga covers all nine Star Wars films and has more than 300 playable characters as a result. We get a glimpse at Emperor Palpatine as he gives orders to his Stormtroopers, and Boba Fett as he tries out his flamethrower. General Grievous and Darth Maul both take on their enemies, while Kylo Ren takes on a malfunctioning light saber. Darth Vader is his usual charming self, while there are also appearances from Count Dooku and Snoke. Of course, they’re not quite as intimidating when LEGO gets involved.

After a couple of delays, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be released on April 5 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The Deluxe Edition of the game will include the Character Collection Bundle with seven character packs to be released post launch. The Mandalorian Season 1, Solo: A Star Wars Story, and Trooper packs will release on April 5 alongside the game, while the Classic Characters Pack and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story arrive on April 19. Finally, The Mandalorian Season 2 and Bad Batch packs arrive on May 4.

In other news, Henry and Sam have both been revealed as characters in HBO’s The Last of Us TV series. Following leaked photos from the filming set, rumors now suspect Lamar Johnson to be taking on the role of Henry for the show. Elsewhere, Rockstar has announced GTA+, a premium subscription service exclusive to GTA Online players on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
