September 2021’s PlayStation Store download charts were dominated by the month’s new releases: NBA 2K22, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, and Deathloop.

The big winner was NBA 2K22 as it not only topped PlayStation 5 downloads in both Europe and North America, it was also the most downloaded PS4 game in both regions. The charts published by Sony further reveal that Kena: Bridge of Spirits players preferred downloading the game on the PS5. The Ember Lab title was almost nowhere to be found in the PS4 charts, but did debut at no. 3 in US/Canada and at no. 1 in Europe on the PS5.
