A PSN PC launcher might be in the works, if a new job advertisement published by Sony Interactive Entertainment is anything to go by. As spotted by DualShockers, Sony is looking for a director of project management specifically for “PC game experiences” and one of the position holder’s task will be to lead PSN platform integration.
Potential PSN PC integration lines up with recent developments
Sony has been repeatedly expressing its desire to go multiplatform in recent months, with an emphasis on PC and mobile. As pointed out by Twitter user Zuby_Tech, this isn’t the first time a job ad has hinted at a mobile and PC launcher for PSN. Last October, the company was looking for a UX Design Manager specifically for PlayStation’s “off-console experience” by designing mobile, web, and PC applications in order to expand its content distribution platform. With Microsoft’s Game Pass being available on PC, it makes sense for Sony to want to put the new PS Plus on PC as well.
