The latest Stellar Blade update has released. Alongside the expected bug fixes, the new update brings a slew of new features and improvements to aid players during EVE’s adventure.

What’s new in Stellar Blade update 1.007?

Stellar Blade update 1.007 includes several quality of life improvements to the game. As noted on its official X (formerly Twitter) page, players can now make custom pins on the map by pressing the square button. Also implemented is a new favorites feature for EVE’s equipment, which allows players to mark their favorite outfits, gear, and exospines so they appear on top of the list. The new Ammo Package is available to purchase, which let’s players stock all ammunition to max at one time, and purchases over 15,000 gold will prompt a confirmation pop-up to prevent unintentional spending.

Also included in the new update are visual improvements to EVE’s suits. The video attached to the tweet below gives a before and after shot of several suits showcasing the new suit physics.

Lastly, anyone who missed out on the Stellar Blade Summer Event at the Oasis can now toggle the content. Additionally, the event’s background music, called ‘Don’t Forget Me,’ is now available at camp.

Stellar Blade launched earlier this year and did fairly well critically. Shift Up CEO Hyung-Tae Kim was impressed, saying he was “very satisfied” with its review scores.

Announced at the September 2024 State of Play, Stellar Blade is getting NieR: Automata crossover DLC. Not much is known about the upcoming DLC, but NieR: Automata’s protagonist 2B is featured pretty heavily. The new content will also usher in a Photo Mode.

Despite Stellar Blade’s success, Shift Up and Sony Interactive Entertainment did find themselves in a spot of trouble recently. A company called Stellarblade has sued the two companies due to trademark infringement.
