The Crew 2 PS5 and PS4 versions will receive visual improvements

In a developer diary, Ubisoft revealed that although 60 fps support was highly-requested, it wasn’t easy to implement in a five-year-old game. Nevertheless, the developer is confident that the update will be available this July. But that’s not all. Ubisoft has been testing various improvements to The Crew 2’s open world and has announced that it’s planning visual changes across all platforms, which include sky and weather system overhaul.

As far as vehicle handling is concerned, Ubisoft has said that it found “a huge difference” between some of the game’s older vehicles and the ones it released recently. To ensure harmonization and consistency in driving experience, the developers have decided to make changes to how cars drive. However, this will be done on a step-by-step basis. Ubisoft will go “category by category and car by car to obtain the best possible result.” Later this month, Nissan Skyline GT-R, Chevrolet Camaro SS Rally, Ford Focus RS RX Rally will receive improvements.

In other news, Elden Ring players have discovered that significant chunks of the game’s lore is missing in some localized versions, and Elite: Dangerous console development has been ceased.
