Kanye West aka Ye is apparently having a blast playing The Last of Us Part 2 nearly five years after the game’s controversial launch. Screenshots of Ye’s Instagram status about the game are making rounds, in which he posted a clip of him playing on Survivor difficulty, and declared that TLOU 2 is the “best game ever made.”
“Last of Us 2 on Survivor+ mode got me spending all day on one board,” read the caption accompanying Ye’s Instagram status. “By faaaaaarrrr the best game ever made so far. This is not a sponsored post.”
The internet, of course, had a mixed reaction to Ye’s random post about TLOU2.
We’re not going to dabble into why Ye remains a controversial figure, but can say that TLOU2 continues to polarize the gaming community over four years on. People seem to be having a hard time forgiving Naughty Dog for killing off a beloved character, and giving the center stage to Ellie instead.
Personally, I enjoyed TLOU2 more than the first game, but I did feel that it dragged on a bit and outstayed its welcome at one point.
