The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is getting a Chapter 2 titled “Retribution”. The game’s story will reportedly pick up where the first title left off, with the Tourist returning as the main protagonist. The standalone title will release on VR platforms, with an Oculus Quest release already confirmed. While other platforms have not been confirmed, it’s worth noting that the previous game came out for PSVR.
What will The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Chapter 2 look like?
While details are still scarce, we do know that Chapter 2: Retribution will be connected narratively to the first title. Skydance Interactive also provided the outlet UploadVR with new promotional materials. One of the images shows off a chainsaw matted with blood and hair, indicating that players may get access to the chainsaw as a new weapon. The ending of the most recent DLC, Aftershocks, also suggests that there may be a new antagonist on the horizon. This would also explain the standalone game’s new title.
