The 2023 Pokémon World Championships, the premier competitive Pokémon event of the year where the world’s most elite Pokémon video game, Pokémon GO, Pokémon UNITE, and Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) players will come together to compete to be the very best, begins Friday, August 11.

Fans around the world can tune in to all the action with live broadcasts on Twitch. The livestreams from Yokohama, Japan will feature intense matchups and expert commentary for all three days of the event. Competitors from all over the world will battle for the title of Pokémon World Champion and more than $1,000,000 in prizes.Available now through August 31, 2023,

Trainers who want to commemorate the event will receive a 2023 Pokémon World Championships Postcard set as a special gift with purchase on all PokemonCenter.com orders of $30 or more (while supplies last). For additional details, visit here.The live stream is headlined by a main stage stream that will broadcast the opening ceremony on Friday, followed by rotating matchups throughout the weekend, and the final matches and closing ceremony on Sunday.
