The latest sales figures for Europe during the month of October have come through, and Sony seems to be dominating the console arena with PlayStation 5 sales up 143% over the same time last year. It seems set to be the No.1 console for 2023. Nintendo has also been doing well, though Switch sales have seen a 20% drop compared to last October. Xbox Series X|S was in third with sales down 52% year-on-year. The best-selling game across Europe was EA Sports FC 24. Super Mario Wonder entered the charts at No.4, though eShop sales data is not shared, so this information is based on physical sales only. Sales were double that of 2017’s Super Mario Odyssey.
