Aniplex and Type Moon have announced through a trailer that Fate/Stay Night Remastered will summon its way onto Switch on August 8th. It is now available on the US Switch eShop at a discounted price of $26.99, a 10% sale off of its MSRP of $29.99, which will last until August 21st.

This marks the first time that Fate/Stay Night will be available in the West, continuing off of Type Moon’s first-time Western releases of Witch on the Holy Night (also known as Mahoyo), and Tsukihime– Fate’s sister stories.

So far the Western release seems to be limited to being digital only, but dedicated fans can seek out the physicals from other regions through suppliers like Playasia, as all versions are region-free and multi-language.

The following is an excerpt from the game’s eShop listing:

“A remastered version of Fate/stay night, fantasy action drama visual novel and TYPE-Moon’s first-ever commercial release in 2004, will be released on Nintendo Switch™ for its 20th anniversary.
The remaster is based on the 2012 release of Fate/stay night Realta Nua, featuring series-first adaptation into languages such as English and Simplified Chinese, as well as graphics and animations rendered in full HD. Experience in vivid detail the story of Shirou Emiya, a teenage boy with dreams of becoming a Hero of Justice, and his battle revolving around the omnipotent wish-granting vessel, the Holy Grail.
With numerous entries in the ever-expanding Fate series, including the mobile game Fate/Grand Order, the curtains of Fate, the Origin, rise once again.”
