Devolver Digital and Pastagames have announced the release of KarmaZoo, a multiplayer side-scrolling platformer, set to launch this summer on Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam). The game aims to bring people together, highlighting the importance of cooperation and teamwork. Players join a team of up to 10 random players online and compete to earn the most precious resource of all, Karma. The levels in the game increase in difficulty based on the size of the team, making every run different from the previous one. Additionally, doing good deeds earns Karma, which can be used to unlock new characters and abilities for future runs. KarmaZoo also offers local multiplayer, where up to eight players can challenge each other in quick-fire mini-games. The game is available in 22 languages and offers cross-platform play between PC and console.
