Megaton Musashi X will include the six major content updates Megaton Musashi received since its launch on Switch in 2021, and will also feature new content. This includes Season 2 of story, PVP online battles, new mecha, characters, weapons and stages (thanks, Gematsu).

Save data from the original game will carry over to Megaton Musashi X, and players who do this will be able to purchase a special item set featuring exclusive mecha. Getter Robo and Mazinger Z will also join the free-to-play release of Megaton Musashi when it arrives later this year.

There’s no word on this new version of the game being localised, but if anything changes we’ll let you know. Megaton Musashi also goes beyond the game and is accompanied by anime, manga and various other merchandise in Japan.
