It’s been a while since we got a sales update about Capcom’s other Monster Hunter game, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, so how is it going? The Nintendo Switch and PC release have now shifted over 1.5 million copies worldwide.

This follows on from an update last October – confirming 1.3 million sales. In its latest financial results, Capcom mentioned how Wings of Ruin contributed to “solid digital sales growth” for the company and “continued to perform well”.

The latest mainline entry in the series Monster Hunter Rise is also performing incredibly well – with Capcom revealing last month how the game has now shipped over 8 million units worldwide – this includes sales of the recently launched PC version of the game.

If you haven’t already tried out Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, you can always check out the demo of the game available from the eShop. We mostly enjoyed the game – awarding it eight out of ten stars.
