Nintendo hasn’t really been doing much with the Switch’s firmware lately. The last few updates, including the version 17.0.0 and 18.0.0 ones, contained very little new additions. In fact, around a third of the Nintendo Switch updates that have been released in the past 12 months have been “rebootless” updates.
Well, Nintendo has released a new update just a bit ago. Once you update, the Switch’s firmware should now be at version 19.0.0. It’s not surprising, but this update doesn’t really do much. All Nintendo says in the official patch notes is that there were “general system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience”.
