You may recall that, earlier this week, it was announced that MLB The Show 23 would be releasing on the Nintendo Switch on March 28th. Since then, there have been questions on whether there would be a technical test of the game, something that was done with MLB The Show 22 last year.

Well, it has been confirmed on the game’s official website that “starting February 15 around 10am PST and lasting through 10am PST February 21st, players 18 or over in U.S. and Canada with a PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch internet-connected console can participate in the MLB The Show 23 Technical Test”.

If you don’t know what these technical tests are, it’s a way for Sony to see how well the online modes do and look into how much stress the game’s online servers can handle before the game’s release in March. The devs also want to receive feedback from players.
