Shin Megami Tensei V has sold 800,000+ copies worldwide, surpassing SMT IV’s lifetime sales

In less than two months, the Atlus developed Nintendo Switch exclusive Shin Megami Tensei V has sold over 800,000 copies worldwide, according to sales data released via Famitsu. The critically acclaimed JRPG has already managed to surpass its 3DS predecessor SMT IV, which sold a total of around 600,000 copies in its lifetime. This means that Shin Megami Tensei V, although having just launched on 12th November 2021, is now officially crowned the best-selling game in the franchise.
