UK: Pokemon Legends: Arceus sold more in its first week than Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Games Industry journalist Christopher Dring has revealed that the newly released Pokemon Legends: Arceus for the Nintendo Switch has shifted more copies in its first week in the United Kingdom than Animal Crossing: New Horizons managed when it released during the pandemic in 2020. Dring also goes on to say that Pokemon Legends: Arceus is the fifth biggest game launch in the United Kingdom within the last two years at retail.
