It has already been a busy 2023 for the gaming division of Warner Bros., due in large part to the release of Hogwarts Legacy and the upcoming releases of Mortal Kombat 12 and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Meanwhile, Hogwarts Legacy will be coming to the Switch in July. That said, the company shared some sales data about the game in their first quarter financial results press release.

The press release also coincided with an earnings call from Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav, where he said earlier today that “Hogwarts Legacy has amassed more than $1 billion in retail sales and over 15 million units sold worldwide to date”. This means that Hogwarts Legacy is now the 5th Warner Bros. video game franchise to surpass that milestone. If you’re curious, the other franchises are LEGO, DC, Mortal Kombat and Game of Thrones.
