Overdrive Blaster – now on Xbox

Ready to shoot ’em up? Overdrive Blaster fires shots onto Xbox.

Available right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S (with a fully optimised version if you want it) is Overdrive Blaster. It comes from the Xeneder Team as they provide players with an uber-colourful shoot ’em up. And it comes with a bit of a twist.

Priced at £4.19, in Overdrive Blaster you’ll get to gather up your blasters and take down any foe that may come towards you. And as you do, you’ll also want to collect a variety of coloured spheres, upgrading weapons as you pocket three of the same.

Shoot ’em up!

The overall goal, aside from to stay alive, is to upgrade all three colours found in Overdrive Blaster – only then will you be seen as a galactic champion, ruler of all worlds.

Overdrive Blaster is certainly retro in design and template, but that doesn’t mean it’s not also modern in touches. The biggest of those is the fact that Overdrive Blaster lands on the Xbox Store in two different forms.

We’ve got the standard edition of the game that allows play on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. But then there’s also the Xbox Series X|S only, optimised edition – the one you should probably be looking to grab if you’re Series X|S suited.

Let us know in the comments which version you pick up.
