Currently sitting in Early Access, Stranded: Alien Dawn, the planet-based survival sim from Haemimont Games and Frontier, will soon be launching in full. April ain’t that far off either!

Having previously worked their magic with Surviving Mars, the development team at Haemimont Games and their friends at Frontier Foundry have today confirmed that Stranded: Alien Dawn, currently sitting in Early Access on Steam will soon be breaking out, releasing in full as it goes. And the most exciting part of it all? It’ll be hitting Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC through Steam and Epic.

April 25th is the big day, the day Stranded: Alien Dawn releases on PC and console as players get the opportunity to liberate a huge 3D world, one in which their every decision will have an action on the fate of a group of survivors. Those players will start with nothing, building things up as their survivors take a crash site and turn it into a thriving base.

The thing is, in Stranded: Alien Dawn, you’ll need to get to grips with the unforgiving surroundings, working through the mountain region of Sobrius to the harsh sands of Desertum, fending off alien wildlife attacks, acquiring knowledge of strange new plants, and researching new technologies to ensure they can truly thrive.

From a simple shelter to a high-tech fortress, survivors must salvage, hunt, farm, and craft their way to establishing a prosperous base to reach their ultimate end goal. And they’ll be able to do this because each and every survivor will have their own unique skills, traits and history. Only by working together will success be found.

Since it first arrived on PC in Early Access form, Stranded: Alien Dawn has continued to evolve, as the teams behind it have looked to build the game out, readying themselves for the full launch on April 25th.

We’ll be sure to remind you when that April 25th release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 and PC takes place. Before that though, players who pre-order or purchase the game from today until 9th May 2023 on all platforms, plus those who purchased the game in PC early access, can expand their bases further with an exclusive Emergency Landing Pod model and a new wooden plank construction material as part of an Early Adopter launch bonus.
