Mundfish and Focus Entertainment are expanding Atomic Heart, their acclaimed action RPG, with the release of its third DLC, Enchantment Under the Sea.

Available now as part of the Atomic Pass, this DLC takes players on a thrilling new adventure through the depths of Facility 3826, where they’ll encounter new characters, master new abilities, and face off against terrifying underwater threats.

A Return to Facility 3826

As we explored in our review of the base game, Atomic Heart offered a captivating and immersive experience, with its “unique blend of retrofuturism, FPS action, and RPG elements.” Now, with the Enchantment Under the Sea DLC, players can continue their journey through this “beautifully crafted and vibrant world,” uncovering new secrets and facing new challenges.

Underwater Exploration and New Abilities

This DLC takes players to a previously unexplored area of Facility 3826: the underwater Neptune Research Center.

As Major P-3, you’ll delve into the depths of this submerged complex, encountering new characters, battling mutated sea creatures, and unraveling the mysteries that lie hidden beneath the waves.

Enchantment Under the Sea also introduces two new glove skills to enhance your combat and exploration capabilities:

  • Whip Skill: A versatile grapple-hook tool that allows you to pull yourself towards enemies, access hard-to-reach areas, and quickly evade danger.
  • Blaze: Unleash a torrent of fiery polymer attacks, incinerating enemies with red-hot fireballs and area-of-effect damage.

Expand Your Arsenal

In addition to new abilities, the DLC introduces two powerful new weapons to your arsenal:

  • Thunderclap: A devastating hammer that amplifies its damage with electrical currents, perfect for close-quarters combat and stunning foes.
  • KM-4 Kuzmich: A double-barrel shotgun with customisable bullet spread, ideal for clearing out crowds of enemies and dealing massive damage.

New Threats Emerge

The depths of the Neptune Research Center are teeming with new and dangerous enemies, including enhanced versions of the robotic foes from the main game, swarms of mutated sea creatures, and the terrifying MOR-4Y, a colossal underwater beast that lurks in the darkness.

A Deeper Dive into the Atomic Heart World

Enchantment Under the Sea not only expands the world of Atomic Heart but also revisits familiar locations, offering a fresh perspective on areas like the flying city of Chelomey, now under the complete control of the robot uprising. With its new characters, enemies, abilities, and weapons, this DLC adds a significant amount of content and replayability to the already immersive Atomic Heart experience.

Atomic Heart: Enchantment Under the Sea is available now as part of the Atomic Pass or as a standalone purchase. Head to your local digital storefront, like the Xbox Store.

The base game, Atomic Heart, is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
