The countdown is really on to Christmas now, and I’m already counting down the days to the break. However, in Mexico and the world of Forza Horizon 5, it is very much business as usual as the calendar rolls around to Autumn of Series 41 and the latest Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges.

More puns, more races, more stuff to do – it isn’t going to boring, that’s for sure! So let’s go and check out what Autumn has blown in…

Part 1: Weekly Car Challenge – Wheeler Dealer

The subject of Series 41 Autumn’s car challenge is a car that seems to have a wheel missing, the Morgan 3 Wheeler. This is a recreation of a classic Morgan from the 1930’s, but brought up to date for modern roads. Still missing a wheel, mind!

Should you not have on in your garage, they are on sale at the Autoshow, priced at 50,000 Credits.

Chapter 1 – Modern Day Morgan

Get in your new car, take it for a spin. Step one complete.

If you want to go a little bit faster, look for share name “Morgan” with my Gt, Red620Ti.

Chapter 2 – Front & Centre

The engine in this car is a 2 litre V Twin (in stock trim) and all the 82 BHP is sent to a skinny rear tyre. Do 3 Awesome Burnouts to warm the tire! Use the tune above to make this easy.

Chapter 3 – Roaring to Go

You know that tune I gave you? Throw it away, as we now have to win the Rocosa Sprint in D Class. Sigh. Stock Trim it is!

Chapter 4  Crowd Pleaser

Now simply take a photo of your steed to finish the weekly challenge.

Complete these tasks and we will be five points closer to the seasonal prizes that are up for grabs with Forza Horizon 5’s Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges for Series 41.

Part 2: Weekly Challenges, Championships and PR Stunts

With the weekly challenge done and dusted, let’s dive into the rest of the mayhem on offer.

Series 41 Autumn welcomes The Trial, two Eventlab, a few PR Stunts, some races…

The Trial – Bragging Rights

This week, the challenge is to take an A Class 800 Aston Martin or Jaguar for this event, and so I chose a Jaaaag – The XJ220 to be exact, and the share code is : 123500759.

You know how there’s always one driver who is a bad apple? I’m thinking I should start a name and shame club for The Trial., as we attempt to win a McLaren Senna.

Eventlab 1 – SUBIE156 Presents Matterhorn Raceway

We need an A Class 800 Track Toy. I used the BMW M3 GTR, share code : 198385025.

A misty and atmospheric drive through the trees, this is a challenge and good fun as well. Subie doesn’t normally let us down!

The prize is a Ford Velociraptor.

Eventlab 2 – PETROLHEAD55823 Presents Sierra Verde Circuit

We need a GT or Super GT tuned to A Class 800 for this event, and so I went with an Aston Martin DB11, share code : 723867622.

A nicely constructed track, this flows well. Two good ones this week!

Prize for completing this is a Super Wheelspin. Another. Bloody. Super. Wheelspin.

PR Stunt 1 – Danger Sign – San Juan Jump

This week, all the PR Stunts need a A Class 800 car, and as they all seem to be a bit off-roady, I went with a Hoonigan Cossie V2. Share code for mine is : 140648350.

Jump over 115 metres to win The run up can be a bit tricky.

If you do it, take a Super Wheelspin home.

PR Stunt 2 – Speed Zone – River Run

Same car again and we need to average the zone at over 95 mph. Piece of cake approaching from the north.

Another Super Wheelspin awaits.

Seasonal Championship 1 – Yule Ready for This!

No sign of 2Unlimited, sadly, but this is a set of races for B Class 700 Mazda or Autozam cars. Of course, I went with a hairdressers car, a Miata, and the share code is : 133412220 (1994 model).

For winning out, we can take home a Jaguar XFR-S.

Seasonal Championship 2 – Christmas Commute

A Class 800 and “High Performance Dailies” are what we need to know for this event, and so I chose a Focus RS from 2017, share code : 151963655.

For winning, it is a Mercedes X Type we can take home.

Seasonal Championship 3 – Braving the Cold

A Classic Rally car and a tuning limit of B Class 700 leaves me with only one choice – a #5 Escort RS1800 MKII, share code : 792610371.

We can win a Chevy Bel Air, which will come in handy in the next section!

Part 3: Other Challenges

A few things to turn your hand to this week, including some Playground Games for a change.

Photo Challenge – #JUNGLEBELLS

Puns, puns everywhere…

Photograph any Bel Air at the Horizon Wilds Outpost for this challenge. See the top of the piece for my artistic effort.

The location you need to be in is below.

The reward? A new Jingle Bells car horn.

Horizon Open – Easier Sled than Done

We have to earn three Ultimate Clean Racing Skills in Horizon Open Racing, which certainly will be easier said than done!

Keep your nose clean to take home a Holiday Tree Outfit. I wonder if that’s like a Christmas tree?

Playground Mini Games – We Three Kings

We have to use an A Class 800 Ariel Nomad to complete a few games of Team King – What could be easier? The share code for mine is : 144860625.

Take home a new “Deck the Halls” car horn for doing so.

Part 4: Hot Wheels Events

If you have the Hot Wheels expansion and are an Elite Level player, then you get to enjoy a couple of extra events.

Seasonal PR Stunt – Speed Trap – Forest Edge

We need an X Class car for this, and so I reached for the Koenigsegg Jesko, and the share name for mine is Jesko with my GT, Red620Ti.

Hit the trap at over 280 mph to win.Approach from the south to use the fans to boost your speed.

A Super Wheelspin is your reward.

Seasonal Championship – Caught in a Loop

The class this time is B Class 700, and the car has to be a Vintage or Classic Racer.

I went with a stock Auto Union Type D, as I fancied a bit of a challenge. It’s quick, but hard to drive!

The reward for racing? A Morgan Three Wheeler.

Part 5: Rally Adventure Events

The Rally Adventure expansion brings even more events to the roster and provided you are already a Horizon Badlands champion, you’ll get access to the following couple of events…

Seasonal PR Stunt – Drift Zone – Canyon Sweep

Any car at all is needed for this challenge, as long as it is only B Class 700.

I chose a Ford Capri, share code : 125134743, and the target is 95,000 drift points.

The prize is another Super Wheelspin. Sigh.

Seasonal Championship – Feeling Crafty

A B Class 700 Alumicraft is needed here, and I chose the Class 10 race car, share code: 401432454.

Completing the championship will get us a Sierra RX-3.

The rewards for Series 41 and Autumn in Forza Horizon 5

With Series 41 now at Autumn, the reward cars are beginning to get in reach – It’s the BMW i4 for 80 points and an Audi RS4 Avant for 160 points that are up for grabs.

Even more Rivals circuits have now been added with Series 41 – Four of them to be precise! – Reservorio Sprint, Playa Azul Circuit, Rocosa Sprint  and for the battery lovers out there, Estadio Circuit. Should keep us out of mischief. The prize total stays the same though, 4 points for making sure you turn in a clean lap.

Grab enough points and Series 41 Autumn also sees you given access to the Exclusive Mercedes Benz E55 AMG for 20 points. Additionally, for 40 points we can get a Backstage Pass, and these can be swapped for hard to find cars in the game. Handy!

Join us next week as we carry on looking at Series 41, and see what Winter brings.Hopefully not more snow!

To enjoy these events in the Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges, you’ll need a copy of Forza Horizon 5.  It’s available on Game Pass, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC and on the cloud via mobile. The Xbox Store will sort you out with a download.

Let us know in the comments if I have helped, hindered or missed the mark with these tunes.
