Five games leave Game Pass

Five games leave Game Pass this week – FIVE GAMES. Will you miss any of them?

Yep, it’s mid-October and that means the usual Game Pass hokey-cokey comes around once more. And as we’ve recently seen the addition of a number of games to the subscription service, we now must say goodbye. And this week we’ll be saying goodbye to five Xbox and PC games.

Shifting out to make room for further additions in the weeks ahead, this week sees the removal of five games from Game Pass. Four of those are playable across console, cloud and PC, whilst another is one of those PC exclusive affairs.

The question is, will you miss any of Dyson Sphere, Everspace 2, From Space, F1 Manager 2023 or Scorn? Each and every one of those leaves Game Pass on October 15th 2024.

Dyson Sphere Program (PC)

Dyson Sphere Program (Game Preview) is a sci-fi simulation game where you can construct your own galactic industrial empire. As a space engineer in a future where humanity relies on virtual reality and supercomputers, you’re tasked with a critical mission: build Dyson Spheres, megastructures that orbit stars to harness their energy.

Dyson Sphere Program offers a unique and captivating experience for strategy and simulation enthusiasts – but from October 15th, it’ll no longer be doing so in Game Pass

EVERSPACE 2 (Console, Cloud, PC)

If you like flying about in space then EVERSPACE 2 is an easy sell, but bear in mind, it is much more an ARPG than an Elite clone.‘ – our full review of EVERSPACE 2 on Xbox pretty much sells this one. It’s a game you really should be playing, but if you need a bit more selling…

EVERSPACE 2 is a fast-paced single-player spaceship shooter that combines thrilling combat with deep exploration and RPG elements. Set in a handcrafted open world brimming with secrets, puzzles, and perils, it offers a captivating sci-fi experience for spacefaring adventurers.

Embark on a thrilling journey, encountering alien species, uncovering mysteries, and battling outlaw gangs. And explore a vast and vivid universe, discover hidden treasures, and test your piloting skills in high-risk/high-reward areas.

Best of all though? Well, that comes with the opportunity to engage in frantic dogfights, utilising a wide array of weaponry and abilities to defeat a diverse range of enemies. With its captivating story, deep exploration, and thrilling combat, EVERSPACE 2 offers an unforgettable spacefaring adventure for fans of action RPGs and space exploration games.

From Space (Console, Cloud, PC)

From Space is a co-op action game where you and up to three friends blast hordes of bubblegum-pink aliens to save Earth. Explore a vibrant, post-apocalyptic world, complete missions, and unleash an arsenal of over-the-top weaponry in chaotic battles.

Choose from a diverse roster of characters with unique abilities, level up to unlock powerful perks, and strategise with your squad to become the ultimate alien-annihilating team.

With its fun and frantic gameplay, From Space offers a lighthearted take on the apocalypse, perfect for those who like their alien invasions with a side of mayhem.

F1 Manager 2023 (Console, Cloud, PC)

F1 Manager 2023 puts you in the heart of the high-stakes world of Formula 1 racing.

Step into the role of Team Principal and lead your chosen team to victory across the 2023 season. Manage every aspect of your team, from factory development to race day strategy, and make crucial decisions that will determine your success on the track.

While F1 Manager 2023 offers a deep and engaging management experience, it’s worth noting that it has been superseded by F1 Manager 2024, which features updated content and refinements for the current racing season.

Scorn (Console, Cloud, PC)

Scorn is a first-person horror adventure game that immerses you in a grotesque and unsettling world. And when we say ‘unsettling’, we mean it!

Explore interconnected regions, solve puzzles, and uncover the secrets of this nightmarish universe. The game’s realistic interactions and limited resources create a sense of tension and vulnerability, forcing you to think strategically and adapt to the challenges.

With its haunting atmosphere and disturbing creatures, Scorn offers a truly immersive and unforgettable horror experience. Check out our full review of Scorn on Xbox Series X|S to learn more.

What’s next for Game Pass?

Expect more games to leave the Game Pass scheme come the end of October, but there will be a few added between then and now too. We’re just waiting for Xbox HQ to confirm the movers and shakers, after which we’ll be sure to let you know.
