Whether you’re a fan of the books, the films, the author or old Harry Potter himself, there’s no debating that the Wizarding World is one full of magic. It’s that with which Hogwarts Legacy is trying to embrace. 

Available to purchase, download and play right now on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC is Hogwarts Legacy. The street date for this is February 10th, but should you splash out a little more cash and take in the super special Digital Deluxe Edition, access to this wonderful world can be yours from now.

Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world action RPG that is set in the 1800s Wizarding World, one in which you’ll be given the chance to live the unwritten in an all-new Hogwarts adventure. It places you in the shoes of a fifth year student of Hogwarts, one who finds themselves with the ability to utilise some rare ancient, super powerful magic. 

Working through the Wizard’s Field Guide and running under instruction from professors and other characters, you’ll get to unearth a magical storyline that is full to the brim with thrilling challenges and tons of mystery. 

Hogwarts Legacy is the game that should drag any and all into the universe, not just those who have found love in the Harry Potter books and films, but for anyone looking for a unique adventure. It’s been put together by Avalanche Software, published by Warner Bros under the Portkey Games tag. 

It’s a game you won’t want to miss either. We’ve reviewed Hogwarts Legacy on Xbox Series X|S, giving it a 4.5/5 score, hyping the worldbulding and story, the great visuals and voice overs, the magic and the sheer amount of content to get involved in.

Whether you are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin linked, Hogwarts Legacy will let you go about taking in the adventure in your own unique way. Magic plays a huge part, but you’ll also come across a host of locations from the world itself. Magical beasts can be harnessed, secrets unfolded and puzzles picked. Whatever you do, it’ll aid you in your quest to become the wizard or witch of your dreams. 

Get over to the Xbox Store and pick up the Digital Deluxe Edition of Hogwarts Legacy on Xbox Series X|S right now. It’ll cost you £74.99. It’s also available on PS5 and PC. 

Failing that, hold tight until the 10th February and you’ll be able to purchase the Standard Edition of the game on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 or PC, or grab it physically. That one will cost you £64.99 or so.

Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players will need to hold until April 4th 2023, whilst those on Nintendo Switch have a longer wait – Hogwarts Legacy is due to release on Switch come July 25th 2023.
