Run & Jump with Run & Jump Guy

If classic, Mario-style platformers are your bread and butter, then you could do a lot worse than check out Run & Jump Guy as it makes its way to Xbox today.

This is retro platforming at its purest, with just a run and a jump at your disposal to traverse each of the levels. Have we told you that you should expect to run and jump!?

A Big World Out There

Available now on Xbox consoles, Run & Jump Guy is perhaps the most ‘does what it says on the tin’ game of all time. You are indeed playing as a guy, who runs and jumps his way across a number of themed levels.

You’ll be embarking on a heroic adventure through levels within the Island, Snowy Forest and Castle locales, making your way over and around obstacles. And of course facing off against a range of foes. Slugs, snowmen, spiky beasties, and huge falling blocks are all out there to end your high-scoring run, so be careful!

Along the way through each level, you’ll be collecting gold coins in an attempt to beat your previous high score. Make use of a variety of power-ups to facilitate this, such as a protective bubble and devastating fire-attack. All in the build-up to a powerful boss encounter at the end of the game.

Just remember, run, jump, jump, run.

Available Now!

Brought to you by developer Chepurniy Yevgeniy and publishers Ternox, Run & Jump Guy is now available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Fans of old-school Mario platformers, Sonic’s first outings, and every other pixelated platformer to hit the market in the decades in between, should certainly consider giving this one a go. It’s now available via the Xbox Store for £4.19.

Game Description

Embark on an epic pixelated adventure in “Run & Jump Guy,” a classic platformer featuring three unique locations: Island, Snowy Forest, and Castle.
