We’re no strangers to Premium Editions of games, but some two years since we first reviewed Farming Simulator 22, back to the farm we head with the biggest and best version of the game yet. When you consider Farming Simulator is probably the genre leader in what it does, that’s something that should be extremely appealing.

Priced at £32.24, Farming Simulator 22 – Premium Edition takes the original base game with all the joys of farming that brings, and adds in no less than seven of the finest DLC packs, chucking in a couple of expansions alongside that. A farmer’s virtual dream? Quite possibly.

Farming Simulator as a franchise just gets better with every new release and that’s the case with Farming Simulator 22. The purists and experts might argue that this hasn’t gone far enough, adding in just a few new features, but with cross-play multiplayer, the brilliant seasonal farming, and supply chains coming to console, there is certainly enough to keep those winter evenings flying by.

But with the Premium Edition, you’re getting even more. Included front and centre is all the content that has previously dropped in the Year 1 Season Pass as well as the Year 2 Season Pass.
And further to that is a new Central Europe environment – Zielonka. It’s here where you’ll find yourself tending to more crops than ever before, in new machines and making the most of new factories. It’s about as big a farming sim game can get.
Farming Simulator 22 Premium Edition is on the Xbox Store. From there you can play it on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. There’s even a separate PC page up for the game. Expect similar for PS4 and PS5.
