Mage and Monsters finally comes to Xbox

If you occasionally frequent the digital stores of PlayStation, Nintendo Switch or PC, then you would have probably seen the auto-battling of Mage and Monsters playing out. Now it’s time to welcome Xbox players to that same world.

Available right now is Mage and Monsters on Xbox. It comes after previous launches on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC to provide a new wave of gamers the chance to go auto-battling.

A new Xbox auto-battler

Priced at £4.09, this is a cheap and cheerful little addition to the Xbox Store. And honestly, we’re excited to see it drop – not because it’s going to be a GOTY contender come the end of 2024, but because we love kicking back and watching an army go to work.

It’s that in which we’ll be doing in Mage and Monsters on Xbox. Army creation is key, as we look to take down anything and everything that may get in our way. Pushing troops out, hoping they have what it takes to survive is the meat and drink of Mage and Monsters.

But what about when things go wrong? Well, it’s up to you to decide whether increasing the size of your army should take priority over chucking down a spell or two. Perhaps you’re happy to get a little more involved, but equally, Mage and Monsters will let the auto-battling commence.

Stick around for our review. We’ll let you know if it is a Mighty Mage.
