If it’s a beautifully created, action-adventure platformer to take on as you attempt to hide away from the Sun (or lack thereof), then look no further than Humble Games and Squid Shock Studios’ Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus.

Read on for more info regarding the mysterious world that you’ll be exploring here…

Foxy Friend

Available today on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC, in Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus you’ll be controlling a fox-based spirit by the name of Bō.

This celestial blossom, in the form of a Japanese fox Tentaihana, uses its trusty staff to jump, glide and dash across the spectacularly pretty 2.5D environments laid out for players. As well as navigational abilities, the staff can also be used to dispatch of the various foes that Bō will encounter – a swift bop on the head with the Mochi Mallet will make short work of your enemies.

Ultimately, fans of the fluid platforming found within the Ori series, as well as the combo-stringing combat of the likes of Cuphead, will feel right at home with this one.
